Transforming the Educational Environment through Hydroponics
Through our Ag-Tech initiative, our mission is to transform the educational environment. Our innovative program helps students to develop technical skills by teaching them to apply their knowledge beyond the classroom in an interactive hands-on learning environment.
When farming, students will use high-demand STEM fields such as science and math to successfully grow plants, further developing lessons from class into applied learning techniques. While involved in our educational program, they will also learn about patience, obedience, dedication, and more skills that can be used to ensure future success both in school and in the future workplace.
Along the way, students will also gain knowledge about the nutritional benefits of greens all while gaining pride of their hard work with opportunities of interactive "salad days" that get kids excited about healthy eating. By giving students the chance to try the food they’ve grown, they get to see the development of their efforts—from start to finish—while showing them ways to fall in love with the food that their bodies also love.
